Description

This substantial ANTIQUE CARVED WALNUT & PARCEL GILT FOUR FOLD SCREEN dates from circa 1890.

It stands well.

Dimensions:

Height: 63 inches (160 cm)

Maximum Width: 97 inches (246 cm)

The condition is good. The hinges work well. There is nice ageing to the gilt. The patterned fabric panels are sympathetic to the frame and, although showing a little sign of wear, add to the overall antique ambience of the screen.

The panels can be recovered in fabric of your own choice if required.
