Antique French Segmented Top Occasional Table - Ormolu Mounts

Description

This exquisite small antique French table is in lovely original condition & has a lot of character. I know it's at least 19th century, but it could even be older that that. Please enlarge all the images to appreciate all the fine details. The top has segmented inlays & has a pierced ormolu gallery. The outside border has a kind of herringbone inlay & there are ormolu mounts on the top of the legs & one the feet. All of the ormolu is nicely aged. I'm not sure on the various woods, but at a guess I would say there is Kingwood, fruit wood, ebony, satinwood & maybe walnut.

Width - 16", 41 cm

Height - 26.4", 67 cm
