Beautility Furniture Ltd was based in Edmonton. Established in 1894, the company moved out from Bethnal Green to Edmonton in the 1930s, looking for cheaper premises. Due to access to the River Lee Navigation, timber could be transported by barge from London Docks and stored in riverside wharves.
