Description

A very decorative and large Japanese Meiji period shadona. This wonderful display cabinet is profusely inlaid with parquetry and marquetry arranged in symmetrical and random patterns using a wide choice of native and imported coloured woods. It has an arrangement of 16 sliding doors, 5 drawers and 8 shelves with 5 shaped and fretted galleries. A very unusual feature is the opening side brackets which house 8 of the doors. In very good condition, totally complete, fully cleaned and waxed. Delivery to most of U.K.by 2 professional handlers £75. Sizes:- Height...64''...163cm. Open Width...41.25''...105cm.
