Description

A beautiful mahogany Edwardian Period Chippendale Revival antique chest on chest. The upper section having a dentil moulded cornice above an arrangement of two short and three long mahogany drawers, with mahogany drawer linings and beautifully figured flame mahogany veneered fronts. The canted corners also with Chippendale inspired blind fretwork. The lower section having a further three graduating drawers with beautiful flame mahogany veneered fronts. Retaining the original Georgian style brass pierced backplate handles, supported on elegant foliate carved cabriole claw and ball feet and with solid mahogany sides. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 62" high x 35" wide at cornice x 20" deep

Condition: This chest on chest is in superb original condition, cleaned and waxed
