Description

For sale is an rare early Victorian mahogany travelling campaign desk. The top of the desk lifts up to reveal a fully fitted interior including a rising writing surface as well as various storage compartments and a pen section. The underside of the lift up top is fitted to hold various documents. The desk stands on four nicely turned legs, three of which unscrew but at one time a long time ago one has been permanently glued but this can be altered if need be. The desk has been completely re-polished by hand and is complete with key.
