The high quality “Gentleman’s Library” style case veneered in beautifully figured flame mahogany, inlaid with ebony stringing. The break arch hood with cast brass bezel, surmounted by a single pedestal with original brass ball finial. The ebony strung inlaid long trunk door with choice curled mahogany veneers, flanked by quarter turned finely reeded columns. Original watch and clockmakers label to the reverse of the trunk door. The box base surmounted on the original bracket feet.

The circular white enamelled dial with gilded edge signed Cameron Dundee, to the lower edge.
The high quality movement of eight day duration with shouldered and shaped plates united by four knopped pillars, anchor escapement and strikes the hours on a single bell.

The original cast iron weights and heavy brass bob pendulum with steel strap.
Fine blued steel hands of spade design.
