Description

A fabulous silver plated biscuit box or barrel, lovely quality made by the first class London silversmith, Collis & Co. of 130 Regent St.

The body and lid is decorated with a repousse fluted design, the hinged lid is crowned with a welcoming Pineapple.

Either side there is a figural backplate to the ring handle in the form of a Ram's head, very Victorian and always highly sought-after.

Superb condition, the lid diameter measures 5" and standing 7 1/2" tall to top of finial.
