Antique Pocket Watch Chain & Vesta Case

Description

An antique sterling silver pocket watch chain and vesta case.

The chain measures 38cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar is hallmarked for 1894 with a maker's mark for William Walter Cashmore. Each of the links has the lion passant silver mark.

The vesta is a little later than the chain, hallmarked for Birmingham 1904, with a maker's mark for the silversmith Henry Matthews who worked from Vittoria Street in Birmingham.

Total weight of chain and vesta 91.1g

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
