Monumental scale C19th Victorian period oak-cased wall-clock .Original painted Roman numeral white enamel dial with black steel hands ,brass bezel to glazed, hinged door and carved oak-leaf and acorn decoration to sides. Bearing the name of its maker William Manning ,Worcester, the clock is fitted with an hour-chiming weight-driven regulator dead-beat escapment with power maintainence. Stunning golden patina , with moulded sectional surround to clock-head, shaped tapering bottom case and arch panel door. Of visually stunning proportions and size, with great presence and of historical importance.
