Sunderland Lustre Sailing Jug C1850

Description

This ANTIQUE SUNDERLAND LUSTRE JUG dates from circa 1850.

Standing 4.25 inches (11 cm) high, the JUG is decorated to one side with a galleon in full sail and, to the reverse, a poem about sailing on the high seas.

The condition is good. There is no restoration. There is a small underglaze chip to the top rim which has occured during the making.
