Pair of Antique Georgian Style Leather Wing Back Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Very impressive pair of naturally distressed leather wing armchairs in excellent original condition. The leather is a distressed brown, with a slight reddish tinge showing in places & they really are a wonderful colour. They have hump backs & generously shaped wings. These armchair are very sturdy, helped by the fact that they sit on mahogany legs that are joined by cross stretchers. They also have loose feather cushions & are hand tacked all over. I would date them to around the 1910-20's period.

Depth - 31.5", 80 cm

Height - 47.3", 120 cm

Seat height - 19", 48 cm
