A RUSTIC PINE VICTORIAN BLANKET CHEST OF GENEROUS PROPORTIONS. CIRCA 1890.

THIS CHEST IS SOLID AND IN GOOD WORKING ORDER WITH THE ORIGINAL WORKING LOCK AND KEY, STRAP HINGES AND IRON CARRYING HANDLES. A SIMPLE COUNTRY PIECE WITH A MULTITUDE OF USES FROM TOY CHEST, WINDOW SEAT TO COFFEE TABLE ETC, ETC.

THE CHEST IS FINISHED IN WAX AND HAS HAD A BIT OF WORM IN ITS TIME WHICH IS NO LONGER THERE. IT IS OF GOOD PROPORTIONS AND WILL SERVE FOR ANOTHER HUNDRED YEARS AT LEAST!
