Pair of C19th mahogany pier or side tables in the style of Robert Adam . Pair of C18th style Adam revival tables with neo-classical carved decoration . Oblong side or pier tables with fluted friezes , 'sun-flower' oval paterae , carved 'blind-fret' corner brackets and trailing husk carving to the legs. Faithful copies of an important pair of C18th Robert Adam (1728-1792) design tables influenced by his interpretations of the architectural elements of Ancient Rome . Solid Cuban mahogany tops, moulded tapering square-section legs, with carved detail to ends. Good colour and condition with some marks and stains to tops consistent with age and aging .A useful pair of neo-classical style tables of C18th design.
