Antique Edwardian Warings Satinwood Bookcase Cabinet

Superb Quality Antique Edwardian Satinwood Bookcase with its original stamp for Warings and dating from around 1900.

Constructed from quality satinwood it has a slim cornice top above two glazed doors with satinwood and ebony stringing and cross banding and with original silvered handle and door divider. Internally there are two adjustable shelves. To the base there are four long graduating drawers all of which are mahogany lined and with original silvered handles. The drawer fronts are cross banded and finely strung with ebony and satinwood. The top drawer has a beautiful inlaid panel to the centre and inside is stamped for Warings. It stands on a plinth base. The bookcase separates for ease of transporting .

Measures: 77" high x height of the top 18" x 21" deep x internal depth (top)11" x 36" wide

A very nice Antique Edwardian Bookcase by Warings. Very high quality and in very good original condition with a lovely colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
