Description

A good quality "Edwardian" and complete fitted LADY'S NÉCESSAIRE or SEWING COMPANION retailed by Asprey of New Bond Street, London.

The leather box opens to reveal the fine quality tools and implements which include bodkin; button hook; stiletto; penknife; silver thimble (hallmarked 1926) and set of three cut-steel scissors, all marked 'Asprey'. Good condition, and signed to the outer edge of the box. 7.5ins (19cms) wide.
