Description

A superb quality late 18th/early 19th century carved and gilded PIER MIRROR in excellent condition.

Surmounted by an impressive winged 'Bird of Ho' with harebells in its beak, and standing on a scrolled central pediment, this good mirror features further carved and gilded harebells down each side; scrolls to the base and it "stands" on matching carved feet.

The bevelled plate is in good condition but not original, whilst the overall dimensions of the mirror are: 67ins high and 31ins wide (79 x 170 cms)
