A Superb Quality Mahogany & Satinwood Inlaid Edwardian Period Pedestal Desk

Description

A Superb quality Edwardian Period mahogany and satinwood inlaid pedestal desk. The rectangular top in solid mahogany cross banded in satinwood having a green gilt and blind tooled leather insert and further pull out "secretary" slides again with green leather writing inserts. The desk having an arrangement of nine mahogany lined drawers each cross banded in satinwood and cast brass swan neck handles, complete with the original brass locks and working key. The solid mahogany sides and back cross banded in satinwood so the desk can be used free standing. The whole raised on a solid mahogany plinth with inset castors English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 51" wide x 27" deep x 29" high (knee hole 24" high x 23" wide) Slides x 2 11" wide x 19" deep

Condition: This desk is in stunning condition it has been re-polished in our workshops, replacement leather inset.
