Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 1860s.
The case is of finely cast ormolu, retaining its original bright gilding and surmounted by a porcelain urn, with a further "Sevres" pink porcelain panel below the dial featuring twin putti and flanked by matching curved porcelain panels to the sides.
A good quality French clock in perfect working order and guaranteed (as are all our clocks) for at least two years.
