Large and Stunning Classical Clock Set.

A large and beautiful clock set of the highest quality. It is classical in style, decorated with goddess figures, masks and profusely decorated with scrolls. To the sides are mounted bold scrolls with laurel wreath drop handles. The top of the clock is surmounted by an 'urn of plenty' final which is matched by the candelabra snuffers. The set is very well made, heavy and the decoration is finely chased. Dial is brass mounted with 12 individual enamel cartouches and is complete with the original blued steel hands. Back door of the clock is glazed with bevelled glass.

The French movement is of excellent quality and is signed A Dehais Paris on the movement backplate. It runs for 8 days and strikes half hourly on a bell. It has been fully overhauled by our clock maker who has replaced the missing pendulum with an new one of the correct length. Click the movie below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!

Condition of the case is excellent with good, bright and clean finish. There are no losses to the clock case. One candelabra sconce has a tiny piece missing from the edge. The arms of the candelabra are very slightly distorted. The dial is also in excellent condition with no damage to the enamel cartouches.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
