An Oak Jacobean Style Refectory Table & Set 12 Oak Dining Chairs

Description

An oak Jacobean style refectory table and set of 12 oak dining chairs. The solid oak draw leaf table with a rectangular oak top having traditional cleated ends and twin cleated draw leaves which pull out from underneath the top and extend the table from 7ft long to 11ft long, each leaf being 2ft long. This makes the table a twelve seater when fully opened and eight seater when closed. The table having traditional vine and grape carved border and supported on turned oak supports with block moulded feet united by a hay rake shaped stretcher. The chairs of traditional late 17th Century deisgn with Carolean style shaped top rail, leather padded back supports and turned supports. Having brass studded detail, leather upholstered seats, turned front legs, bun feet and H stretchers. The twin carver armchairs having open swept arms. English circa 1920

Dimensions: Table 7ft long x 3ft wide x 30" high (11ft with both leaves in) Carvers 47" high x 24" wide x 22" deep Stands 47" high x 20" wide x 20" deep (seats 18" high)

Condition: This dining suiteis in excellent original condition, Cleaned and waxed. We will sell this suite seperately if required
