Description

I am not a 100% sure where this fabulous snuff box started life in the mid-nineteenth century, I suspect northern Europe / Scandinavia, it has the most charming naive or folk art look about it.

Carved from Cedar wood in the form of two ducks, both retain their tiny glass eyes. The underside has a sliding lid where the snuff would have been stored.

About as charming as they come and in excellent condition. 4" x 2 1/4".
