Large Antique, English Cut Crystal Inkwell - Hunt Scene Top C. 1910

Description

A very handsome inkwell (see items 35960 and 35961 for a matching blotter and postage stamp box) and a most impressive size.

Made from a hefty piece of crystal, beautifully cut on the underside with the ever-popular hobnail design, all undamaged.

The collar and lid are made from nickel over brass, the nickel having worn on the top to reveal a lovely polished brass to frame the circular hunt scene under glass.

Edwardian in era, dating to around 1910. Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and standing 3 1/4" tall.
