Shaun King Antiques has dated this piece to the 1850s.

Both ROLLING PINS are painted with a central ship in full sail, named JULIA.
The first ROLLING PIN is painted 'A Present from Robert Lake' on the end to the left. The opposite end, although worn in places, reads 'Norfolk 1859' and possibly 'Holt'.

The other ROLLING PIN is painted 'A Present for Martha Arnold' and 'Warham 1859'.
They measure 14.5 inches (37 cm) in length.
The condition of the ROLLING PINS is good with just the expected wear to the paint.
