Vintage 1920s Record Gold Plated Pocket Watch

Description

A 1920s Record pocket watch in beautiful condition.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around one to two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Record, 17 Jewels, Swiss Made.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated. The case is in good condition for its age with just a couple of very minor indentations to the back, and general light surface marks.

The plastic lens is in good condition.

The dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
