A beautiful rosewood Victorian Period open armchair with "cameo" back. The "cameo" back with a beautiful floral carved crest above the deep buttoned padded back. The swept open arms with upholstered armrests and beautifully carved detail, which is repeated on the knuckles and front cabriole supports. The serpentine shaped sprung seat newly upholstered in a gold silk damask and having swept rear supports and brass castors English circa 1860

Dimensions: 39" high x 26" wide x 26" deep (seat 18" high)

Condition: This armchair is in stunning condition, newly upholstered in a gold silk damask, the frame cleaned and waxed
