Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The frame is made from lovely aged oak with a very attractive panelled headboard and footboard with gothic carving to the headboard. It has a Vono style frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled for storage. Comes complete with irons but no base or mattress supplied. Dating from circa 1930s.

General scuffs, scratches and marks commensurate with age. A few old worm holes to one leg which have treated with worm killer as a precaution and filled so not really visible. Some small screw holes whch have been filled in above the iron rests on the legs.
