PETER BREUER**: a charming late 19th century BRONZE study of a young naked girl, sitting beside a pool, her hair tied in a bun and with flowers in her left hand.

Raised on its original marble base and signed in the manqué. About 9ins (23cms) long.

** PETER BREUER was born in Cologne in 1856 and taught as a professor of Sculpture in the Academy of Arts in Berlin. His work is well known and described as: "...oscillating between the traditional and modernity." He died in 1930
