Description

A fine and impressive early 19th century English REGENCY CONVEX MIRROR.

Surmounted by a carved and ebonised eagle, perched upon a stand with carved and gilded acanthus leaves, the circular frame with close-ball decoration, features twin candle holders, whilst the original convex glass has an inner ebonised 'slip' frame.

Below is the carved and gilded "collar" and this impressive mirror measures 38ins high overall and 21.5ins wide across the frame. (96.5 x 54.5cms)
