Simply beautiful! This glowing madder-red wedding rug, made by a Tekke Turkmen weaver during the 19th century, is finely knotted and stunning in every way. The wedding dowry rugs were always of small, squareish size and intended for the bride and groom to stand on at their wedding ceremony in order to take their marriage vows.
