A Good Set of 8 William IV Mahogany Dining Chairs

Description

Consisting of 2 carver and 6 standard chairs, this set is made on good quality mahogany. They stand on turned and faceted front legs, the carvers have bold scrolled arms and all the chairs have carved detailing to the centre rails and comfortable curved top rails. In very good original condition and of a mellow colour. Recently re-upholstered in linen. Carver chairs 570 mm deep, 530 mm wide, 865 mm high and 490 mm seat height. Standard chairs 520 deep, 480 mm wide, 865 mm high and 490 mm seat height. Circa 1835.
