Description

An unusual early twentieth century compass dating to around 1905 / 1910 made from solid brass and enamelled in black.

The hinged lid has a powerful integral magnifying glass, the back of the compass signed by this top-notch maker "Negretti & Zambra, London / Pat. No. 12777 / Made In England"

The side of the case has a lever to activate the transit when not in use. The compass comes complete with the original leather case in excellent condition and having done a wonderful job protecting the compass which also remains in superb undamaged condition. Measuring 1 3/4" in diameter.
