The stand sits of four stunning and highly decorative feet. The egg cups are all pierced with gilded interiors. The stand comes complete with six egg spoons.

The underside has a full mark for PADLEY, PARKIN & STANIFORTH of Sheffield. Active (1846-1875) at 1 Watson Walk, Sheffield and 215 Salisbury Street, London. Succeeded to Padley, Parkin & Co. The firm used a "palm of hand" trademark acquired from J. Watson & Son in 1849 (Watson used this trademark since 1830).
Excellent condition, the stand measuring 8" x 6 1/2" and stands 6 1/2" tall to top of handle.
