A Victorian 16 Drawer Collectors Cabinet in Finely Figured Burr Walnut Circa 1870

Description

It is not often we obtain burr walnut examples in the specialised field of collectors cabinets. This is a superb cabinet and the patination and figuring of the walnut is exceptional!

The cabinet contains 16 drawers and these have been sidelined with white cartridge and base layered with plastazote which is an ideal recipient for pins and fixings or merely as a ground for a multitude of collectables. The drawers all have glazed frames to the top and run well on hidden bearer runners.complete with original lock and key.

This cabinet would serve well in any collecting pursuit and is aesthetically most pleasing.
