Large Late Victorian Brass Planter with Lion Mask Handles

Description

This striking ANTIQUE BRASS PLANTER, which stands on four lion's paw feet, dates from around 1880.

There are two lion mask handles to the sides and an embossed HERALDIC PANEL to the centre.

Dimensions:

Height: 12.5 inches (32 cm)

Width: 21.5 inches (55 cm)

Depth: 11.75 inches (30 cm)

The condition is good. The PLANTER is a pleasing, mellow colour and not over-cleaned. Due to years of attentive house-keeping there is one small split in the base (please see photograph).

The PLANTER has character and the COUNTRY HOUSE feel.
