~ French - Circa 1890 ~
~~ Excellent condition ~~
Style is Louis XVI, classical and symmetric decorated with floral swags and urns. The front of the case is finely fretted foliage which allows the pendulum to be glimpsed swinging inside the case. Gilding is excellent and original, in clean and bright condition. Candelabra have original snuffers which sit in the central sconce as a finial. These match the finial of the clock.

Dial is a lovely off-white decorated with delicate floral swags.
The French movement is of the highest quality and has the clockmakers mark on the movement backplate. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully serviced by our clockmaker. Pendulum has been replaced. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the movie below to hear the bell and watch the clock running!

Condition of the case is excellent with clean and bright finish and there are no losses. There is some very minor wear to the original gilding on the high spots. Candelabra arms and stems are slightly distorted. The dial is also in excellent condition with no damage.

Complete with original pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
