Description

A vintage 1924 silver Art Deco hand winding wrist watch.

The hand-winding movement is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within 2 - 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The jewelled movement is stamped 15 jewels, Swiss made.

The watch measures 25.7 mm wide excluding the winding crown and 38.1 mm high including the lugs. The silver case has Edinburgh import marks for 1924. The case has light surface marks from use and otherwise it is in nice condition. The case back has some unevenness.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition.

The dial has some surface marking although it has a nicely aged look.

The watch has blued steel hands (the minute hand is later although still antique).

The watch has a later black leather strap.
