Description

Antique French side table with an inlaid parquetry top & under-tier. This table has exceptionally good quality gilt bronze mounts, plus it has a pierced gallery around the top, a drawer, square tapered legs & turned feet culminating in gilt metal. There is a lot of detail on this piece, so please enlarge all the images. The gilding in places is quite aged & we didn't really want to clean it up, because we quite like the original look. Also, you may notice a few of the mounts aren't sitting straight, but don't worry about that, because we are sending it back down to the restorer to sort that out. The back of this table is as nice as the front. I would date it to around the 1910-20's period.
