Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1940s.
It has a platinum case surrounded by diamonds and then more diamonds to the the most beautifully lugs which are articulated and very much of the Art Deco period with the geometric design. As you would expect from Longines the diamonds are bright, crisp and evenly matched and has approximately 1.5cts of diamonds.

The measurement for the whole of the platinum and diamond case including the lugs is 38mm long by 14mm wide not including the crown.
It is quite stunning with a white dial which is in perfect unmarked condition. A new glass has been fitted and it has been professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.

The 17 jewel is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect from Longines the watch is fully marked on the dial and movement and the case is marked ALL PLATINUM

Longines are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class, truly a piece of jewelery which will never date.
Overall this watch is in beautiful condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift for any lady.

The watch has just been fully overhauled, restored and serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Longines in all respects.
This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled by the respected watch specialist Alan Williams FBHI, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.

The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then throughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.

The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.

Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.

This is a 100% genuine Longines watch not a copy replica or reproduction.
