The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is protected by an inner dust cover.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The semi-hermetic case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Glasgow (import mark), 1917, with an importer's mark for Arthur George Rendell. The dust cover and movement casing also have small 925 silver marks. The case has some unvenness to the back, and general surface marks, all commensurate with the watch's age and history.

The enamel dial has a chip on the very edge and two or three faint hairline cracks but they are difficult to see with the naked eye. Blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds and an outer minute track.
The watch has a later plastic lens which is in good condition.
A later brown leather strap has been fitted.
