Handsome classic Victorian black and brass bedstead professionally restored.Gloriously sturdy and timeless. Attractive detail in decorative castings.

Brass knobs, collars, knees , husks, faces, spindles and rails. See close up image of spindle detail. Side rails have been lengthened; strengthened and adapted to support wood slats.

This bed can be taken apart for ease of access into four posts and separate panels.

Suitable for king size mattress 5' x 6'6".

Head board height 58"; foot board height 46"; side rail height 14". Overall length 84".

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

Alternatively we can supply mini box bases 2" with platform top (£225) or 4"with springs (£275)for superior mattress support and to raise get into bed height. We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices.
