Description

A William IV Silver Gilt Vinaigrette by William Simpson, Birmingham 1836, with engine turned decoration and applied foliate border to both sides, the gilt interior with pierced liner and the lid with a vacant reserve and later applied suspension loop to one side.

3.5cm wide.

There is some damage to the reverse of the vinaigrette which has occurred when the suspension loop was applied (see photograph)
