Victorian Rustic Coffee Table C1880

Description

This unusual ANTIQUE COFFEE TABLE was made about 1880 in the RUSTIC tradition.

It has well-chosen branches forming a both decorative and strong triform base. A spectacular piece of timber has been chosen for the top. It is over 2 inches (5 cm) thick and has a beautiful grain with all the timber's history shown in the rings spreading out from its centre.

The TABLE is well-balanced and of sturdy construction. It is original throughout. It would make an ideal coffee table or lamp table.
