Description

A delightful and very pretty Regency period SILK NEEDLEWORK PICTURE of great detail and retaining all of its original bright vibrant colours.

Apparently depicting a romanticised "Classical" scene of a Roman soldier with his horse, visiting an impoverished farmer and his family, it is in lovely condition and complete with its original frame and inner verre eglomise 'slip' frame, with its original paper trade label to the reverse. 14.5 x 11.75 ins including the frame (37 x 30cms).
