Welsh Bread & Cheese Cupboard C.1820.

Description

Charming early 19th.c. North Wales kitchen or ‘Bread and Cheese’ cupboard, Anglesey c.1820. Unusual design having a two door cupboard top on a two over three chest of drawers instead of the more common cupboard base. Shaped cornice over a mahogany veneered panel (repeated in the base) and particularly attractive pierced panel doors. Solid oak front, pine sides with original ‘scumbled’ paintwork. Diamond bone escutcheons, turned knobs and original shaped feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.

Dimensions: width 43", depth 18", height 78½".
