Antique English Silver Card Case with Cards, 1878

Description

A lady's antique silver card case of super quality, with original calling cards in the name of Miss Freda Bundock.

The case measures approximately 8cm x 4.5cm so it is a very ladylike elegant size, and it weighs 44.2g. The case is beautifully detailed on both the front and back and there is a vacant cartouche to the front. The lid hinges open to reveal good clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1878 with a maker's mark for George Unite.

There are a couple of minor 'dings' to the case but overall it is in super condition for its age.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
