Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the 1800s.
It stands on sabre legs and the drop in seat has been newly reupholstered in a heavy fabric with a pattern in raised chenille of flowers and scrolls in a duck egg blue on a stone coloured background. Would make a beautiful desk chair or hall chair.

Slight give the frame as to be expected with a chair of this age. Newly reupholstered. Wear and marks commensurate with age. An old split and mend to one of the front legs. Old worm holes to the seat rail which have been treated with worm killer as a precaution.
