Description

An very unusual Continental 9 drawer mahogany and leather Wellington Chest. The flame mahogany front with rounded corners, brass hinged flaps and drawer with lock and keys. When unlocked, the frieze drawer opens to allow the hinged pilasters to open and access to the 8 boxes/drawers. The leather clad boxes have subtle gold tooling and original brass handles and are in very good usable order with very little sign of wear. The box top lifts and the front drops for access. Condition- Very good. Sizes:- Height...60.5''...153cm. Width...20.75''...52.5cm. Depth...20.75''...53cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £65.
