George III Oak Low Boy

Description

A George III oak low boy, side table, the top with a moulded edge and inset walnut banding, the arcaded frieze with an arrangement of 3 drawers, each with barber pole ebony and boxwood stringing, cock-beaded edges, oval bone escutcheons and original brass handles. The frieze finished with shaped pierced brackets, and original brass swan-neck handles. The whole on square section legs with chamfering to the inside corners.

Height 28 inches; Width 31 1/4 inches; Depth 20 3/4 inches.
