Vintage 1940s Omega Pocket Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A 1940s Omega pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, calibre 37.5 T1, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good. The movement is signed Omega, Swiss, 15 Jewels, and it has the serial number 10,596,133 which dates it back to the second half of the 1940s.

The watch measures 43mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop (the loop appears to be a later replacement). The case is in good condition with just light surface marks. The inside of the case back has the Omega triangular stamp.

The plastic lens has light marks but it is very acceptable.

The dial is signed Omega, Swiss Made. It is in good condition with just some age related darkening. Silver feuille shaped hands.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
